WAG Gift Shop Artist Submission

The Woodstock Art Gallery's Gift Shop is continually seeking submissions from local and regional artisans who create unique and distinctive works. These works may include, but are not limited to:

• Jewellery
• Pottery, glass, precious gems
• Leather or vegan leather products
• Photographic art
• Textiles, felting, quilts, weaving
• Hand-carved Canadian woods products
• Soap stone, marble, mixed, media, bronze and metal sculpture
• Home and garden decorative art
• Painting, drawing, original prints and cards

 The following will be taken into consideration when determining the marketability of all works:

• Design Quality: Colour suitability, functionality and aesthetics
• Originality: Creativity, new concepts and innovative techniques
• Craftsmanship: Technical merit, attention to detail
• Presentation: Supporting materials/labels, complete price list, artist biography
• Sales Potential: Audience oriented, depth of work/product line, price points

Artists receive 60% commission on sales of their work. The Gallery receives 40% of all sales.

Terms and Conditions

Submission packages are received by the Woodstock Art Gallery continually and reviewed on a quarterly basis. Upon acceptance, the artist will be contacted to arrange an appointment for final selection, signing of agreement, direct deposit paperwork and drop-off. All art works must be ready-to-hang (D-rings or wires only). Woodstock Art Gallery reserves the right to refuse any work that is not to saleable standards.
