Building records can be released if you're the current property owner or an authorized agent. The Ontario Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) grants the right to access building records. To process your request, submit this application form along with the required fee to the Building Department. Requests without payment won’t be processed until payment is received. The City of Woodstock aims to routinely disclose documents at the time of request. Records available directly from departments, like the Building Department, will typically be provided within about 15 days. If retrieving documents requires searching through a large volume of records, an extension may be needed to avoid disrupting department operations.
The file search and preparation fee is $30.00.You will be prompted to submit electronic payment for the application after clicking submit.
